Fees

“We welcome all students and their families who share or respect our Catholic faith, values and traditions. Catholic Education is supported by State and Federal funding, with families contributing the balance of the cost of educating their children. At times, some families are unable to meet their commitment to the full costs of education. As a Catholic school system, we ensure fee relief mechanisms are available to support families in time of need. We encourage these discussions on enrolment or as these needs emerge.”

The 2024 Fee Payment Agreement is as follows:

Per family:

Tuition Fee $1,300, Capital Fees $210

Per child:

Classroom Fee $280, Excursion Fee $160, Technology Fee $140

We recommend that families take advantage of setting up regular direct debit or credit card payments.  Regular payments may be dedcuted weekly, fortnightly or montly.  If you have any questions or queries please contact Julie or Nadia at the office by phone on 5368 9495.

The school camps and the swimming/gym program costs are as follows:-

Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 (2 night) camp - $420

Swim/gym program - $150 (All students participate ina 5 week swimming and gymnastics program at the Ballarat Aquatic Centre).

CSEF

Families who hold a valid means tested Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card or Vetran Affairs Pensioner Cared, are eligible for financial assistance through the Catholic Education Office's Family Fee Assistance Scheme and the Victorian Government's Camp Sport and Excursion Fund.  This means that there is a reduction off the Family Fee and Captial Fee combined.  The example for 2024 is as follows:-

Family Fee and Capital Fee Combined Fee Amount - $1,510.00.

With eligibility there would be a credit to the combined fee of $990.00.

State Government credit for Camps, Sports or Excursions of $150.00.

This makes the balance of Family Fee and Capital Fee Amount $370.00.

CONVEYANCE ALLOWANCE (Travel Allowance)

If you live more than 4.8km from your closest Catholic school you can apply for the conveyance allowance.  This is a payment towards the cost of transporting your child to school by car.  For example, in the 2023 year, for the first child of the parent/guardian received an amount of $450.18.  Every additional child in the same family will receive 50% of this amount.  This can be credited directly to your fees or paid directly to the parent/guardian.
