St Patrick’s utilise the Skoolbag Mobile App as a form of school/parent communication.
The Skoolbag App works through both smart phones and smart devices (such as iPads and Android tablets) and enables us to send notifications, newsletters, events and other documents. Minimising the lost paper in school bags!
From the Events Calendar, the Skoolbag App enables parents to add school events to their own personal smart device and also enables parents to notify the school of student absences via an 'Absentee Note', as well as to update personal details such as a change of address or telephone number.
To download the St Patrick’s Skoolbag App to your phone or other electronic device please search in the app store for St Patrick's Primary School skoolbag and follow the directions HERE.
Seesaw is a simple way for teachers and students to record and share what's happening in the classroom. Seesaw gives students a place to document their learning, be creative and learn how to use technology. Each student gets their own journal and will add things to it, like photos, videos, drawings, or notes. When there are new Seesaw posts, families can be notified via app notification, email or SMS. Parents are only notified about their own child’s work.
Students are encouraged to bring their diaries each day to enable two way communication between school and home.
